Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of presentationtimer.org and the PresentationTimer timer-room service. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Use of the Service

PresentationTimer lets you create and share browser-based timer rooms for talks, meetings, webinars, classes, rehearsals, and live events. You may use the service only in a lawful manner and only for legitimate timing and coordination purposes.

Access Links and Host Control

Host links and host tokens provide control over a timer room. You are responsible for keeping those links private. Anyone with a valid host link or token may be able to control the room.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to break the law or violate the rights of others.
  • Interfere with the site, sync systems, or other users' rooms.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to rooms, tokens, infrastructure, or accounts.
  • Use automated abuse, scraping, or denial-of-service behavior against the site.
  • Misrepresent your identity or your authority to control a room.

Service Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of PresentationTimer at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent room retention, or error-free operation.

Temporary Rooms

The current service is designed around temporary free timer rooms. Room data may expire, be removed, or become unavailable after inactivity or operational resets.

Intellectual Property

PresentationTimer, including its site content, branding, and software, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, PresentationTimer and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, business, revenue, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or block access to the service if we reasonably believe a user is violating these terms, creating risk, or abusing the platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
